RUMCHE 2026年春夏コレクションは、フィジーと日本での文化的な体験から着想を得ています。デザイナーの安原璢美は、休暇で訪れたフィジーでの滞在を通し、村の素朴な暮らしとリゾート地の華やかさの対比に心を動かされました。「裸足で駆け回る子どもたち、家畜と自動車が行き交う風景、竹や木材でできた家々の隣に突然現れる近代的な映画館。その光景は、物質的な豊かさと精神的な豊かさについて改めて考えさせてくれるものでした」と安原は振り返ります。

帰国後、安原は自身のルーツである日本に目を向けます。尼寺でいただいた精進料理も、今季のもう一つの重要なインスピレーション源となりました。茄子田楽や住職が纏う作務衣の美しい瑠璃色。その鮮やかな色彩は、自然が生み出す美の象徴として心に刻まれました。「食が生命をつくる」ことを実感した安原は、日本の穀物や農作物についてリサーチを深め、「瑞穂の国」と呼ばれる日本の農業文化の奥深さに魅了されていきました。自然が生み出す造形の美しさ、そしてそれを丁寧に調理することで生まれる食の恵み。物質的な充足にとどまらない、健康、人間関係、心の充実といった多層的な豊かさ（アバンダンス）。それらを讃え、自然と人々の営みのつながりをコレクションへと昇華させています。





今季は、自然の恵みにインスパイアされたシルエットや色彩をふんだんに取り入れています。稲や野菜の形はタックやドレープとして表現され、束ねる、重ねるといった構造を服のシルエットに落とし込みました。カラーパレットは、土や農作物を象徴するベージュやテラコッタをはじめ、フィジーの子どもたちが着用していた学生服のサックスブルー、さらに精進料理で出合った茄子や住職の作務衣の瑠璃色（ネイビー）が加わります。テキスタイルは、ハリのあるコットンや光沢と滑らかな手触りが魅力のビスコースをはじめ、スパンコールでストライプ柄を表現したリネン、シワ加工を施したポリエステル、速乾性のある機能素材など、ナチュラルな風合いと都会的なエッセンスを融合させた素材を採用。日常性を兼ね備え、着心地の良さを追求しました。プリントは、安原がトウモロコシや稲穂の豊かな作物をモチーフに描いた水彩画が、ローウエストのロングドレスやスカート、パンツに用いられ、穏やかな表情を与えています。

RUMCHEのシグニチャーであるボンドヤーンは、人気のブラックやホワイトに加えて、新たにベージュに染め上げたハーネスやネックレスが登場します。フィジーの工芸である木彫りの器の柄をヒントにしたモチーフに、ゴールドやシルバーのビーズを装飾。またカラフルに染めた和紙を用いたポーチやチャームも提案します。

全体を通して、プリミティブな軽やかさがありながらもRUMCHEらしい日常にアートを感じられるコレクションに仕上がりました。一着一着に宿る“豊かさのかたち”が、着用する女性たちの日々を彩り、新たな気づきや喜びをもたらすようにと願いが込められています。

RUMCHE's Spring/Summer 2026 collection draws inspiration from cultural experiences in both Fiji and Japan. Designer Rumi Yasuhara was deeply moved during her vacation in Fiji, where the contrast between the simplicity of village life and the glamour of resort areas left a lasting impression. "Children running barefoot, scenes where livestock and cars share the roads, houses built from bamboo and timber standing right beside a modern movie theater—these sights made me reflect anew on the meaning of both material and spiritual wealth," Yasuhara recalls.

After returning to Japan, Yasuhara turned her gaze to her own roots. A meal of shōjin ryōri (Buddhist vegetarian cuisine) at a nunnery became another key source of inspiration for this season. The glazed eggplant and the luminous deep violet blue of the abbot's work robes were etched in her mind as symbols of nature's inherent beauty. Experiencing firsthand how "food creates life," Yasuhara deepened her research into Japanese grains and produce, becoming fascinated by the depth of Japan's agricultural culture, often referred to as "Mizuho no Kuni" (the Land of Abundant Rice). The natural beauty of organic forms and the blessings of food born from careful preparation embody a richness that extends beyond material fulfillment—encompassing health, relationships, and spiritual well-being. She celebrates this multilayered abundance and elevates it into the collection, expressing the profound connection between nature and human life.

This season, silhouettes and colors inspired by nature’s bounty are richly incorporated throughout the collection. The shapes of rice plants and vegetables are interpreted as tucks and drapes, with structures of bundling and layering translated into garment silhouettes. The color palette includes beige and terracotta, symbolizing soil and crops, alongside the sky blue of the school uniforms worn by children in Fiji, and the deep violet blue inspired by the eggplants and the abbot’s robes encountered in shōjin ryōri. Textiles range from crisp cotton and lustrous, sheer viscose to linen striped with sequins, crinkled polyester, and quick-dry functional fabrics—materials that fuse natural textures with an urban sensibility. With wearability and comfort in mind, the collection balances everyday practicality with refinement. Prints feature Yasuhara’s own watercolor paintings of abundant harvests of corn and rice, brought to life on low-waisted long dresses, skirts, and trousers, lending a serene and poetic expression.

RUMCHE's signature bond yarn introduces new beige-dyed harnesses and necklaces alongside the popular black and white options. Motifs inspired by carved wooden vessel patterns from Fijian craftsmanship are adorned with gold and silver beads. The collection also features pouches and charms made from colorfully dyed washi paper.

Throughout the collection, a primitive lightness prevails while evoking a sense of art in everyday life. Each garment embodies a unique "form of abundance," created with the hope that they will enrich the daily lives of the women who wear them, bringing new insights and joy.
