VINTAGE REMAKE
「衣服を思い、生まれ変わらせる。
人々の想いや温もりをつなぎながら」
そんな想いを込めたヴィンテージのアップサイクル。
世代や時代を超えて受け継がれる人々の衣服への愛情や記憶に敬意をはらい、捨てられるはずだった衣服、古くなった衣服に再び命を吹き込む。
衣服において、多くの工程を経るもの作りやクリエイションから、お客様の手元に届くまで、そしてその先にまで思いを馳せ、一点一点に新しいストーリーを生む。一つとして同じものはない、価値あるものの提供を目指す。
服や生地が新しくとも古くとも、手掛けた人や愛用した人の想いをつなぐ。それが服作りの醍醐味でもあり、責任でもある。自然や人に感謝し、デザインから製造、消費まで、環境に負担をかけないファッションとしてのあり方をRUMCHEの根底に、循環するデザインに向けた新たなステージへ。
‘VINTAGE REMAKE’
For 2023 SPRING / SUMMER
2023年春夏シーズンは、デニムアイテムを中心に1970年代のアメリカンビンテージをセレクトし、RUMCHEのスタイルに合ったデザインにリメイク。グリーンやピンクを色付け、洗い加工したデニムのオーバーオールを含む4デザインを製作。
デニムシャツは、あえてオーバーサイズのメンズウエアの中でも、やわらかな素材感やフェミニンな風合いのあるものを厳選。着丈を短くカットし、特殊な染色・脱色を100年以上継承する国内の染め工場で一点一点丁寧にペイント。絶妙に映えるカラーリングは芸術的な職人技が光る。
カジュアルなデニムのショートパンツは解体し、エレガントなホルターキャミソールに。ヴィンテージのいいところは、元々丁寧に作られていること。職人の気持ちを継承するように、私たちも細かく手を入れることで、不思議と精巧でハイクオリティーなものへと作り替えることができる。
カラフルなパイル地のバスローブは、アウターに仕立て直してガウンコートにアレンジ。ルームウエアがアウターとして変わっても、リラックスして着られる心地よさはそのままに。本来の素材の良さは決して失わない。それがヴィンテージに対する敬意であるから。
時間が経っても色褪せず、耐久性も損なわれないヴィンテージ。
私たちはこの出会いを“贈り物”だと思っています。
一から作る楽しさとはまた違う、服作りの喜びを教えてくれる。
まるで、過去とつながったような懐かしい感覚。

Our new collection of the upcycling of vintage clothes.
We respect people's feelings towards their garments, which have been passed down through generations and eras, and we revive pre-loved garments that should have been thrown away or become old.
We create a new story for each piece of clothing, from the many processes of production and creation to the moment it reaches the customer's hands and beyond. We provide valuable products that are never the same.
Whether the clothes and fabrics are new or old, we connect the thoughts of the creator and the wearer. This is the true joy of making clothes, but it is also our responsibility. We are grateful to nature and people, and from design to production to consumption, we are moving to a new stage of design for recycling, with RUMCHE's roots in the way of fashion that does not burden the environment.
‘ VINTAGE REMAKE ’
For 2023 SPRING SUMMER
The 2023 Spring Summer season takes for VINTAGE REMAKE.
We select American vintages from the 1970s, mainly denim items, and remakes them into designs that suit RUMCHE's style. This season, four designs are presented, including a pair of washed denim overalls with green and pink on top.
Denim shirts were daringly selected from oversized men's shirts, among which those with a soft material and feminine texture. The special dyeing and bleaching process is painstakingly painted at a domestic dyeing factory that has inherited the process for more than 100 years. The exquisite coloring is the result of artistic craftsmanship.
Casual denim shorts are dismantled and turned into elegant halter camisoles. The good thing about vintage is that it was originally made with special care. Just as we inherit the craftsman's feelings, we can also make them into something elaborate and of high quality by meticulously tending to them.
Colorful pile bathrobes are re-tailored into outerwear and rearranged into gown coats. Even when loungewear is transformed into outerwear, the comfort of relaxed wear is maintained. The quality of the material is never lost. Because that is our respect for vintage.
Vintage does not fade over time, nor does it lose its durability.
We consider this encounter to be a "gift".
It teaches us the joy of making clothes, which is different from the pleasure of making something from scratch.
It is a nostalgic feeling as if we are connected to the past.
We hope that we can carry this feeling into new generation at RUMCHE GREEN.
